Over 2000 people saved in 2 days!

During the morning we had leaderseminars and I taught on grace and faith and how they stick together. Johan continued to talk about servanthood and leadership.

When we had eaten and rested it was time for the campaignmeeting. Just before we arrived to the ground we got the results from last night over 850 people had filled in decisioncards.

Today over 3000people had gathered. Rikard Eugenzon (pastor in Salemchurch in Vargön) preached tonight.  As I later lead the altarcall alot of people responded, hands where going up all over the ground. After the meetings the ushers had counted the decisioncards for the night and 1348 people had accepted Jesus and filled out a contactcard!! So during two days 2198 decisioncards have been collected!!

Wonderful Bengali people receiving Jesus!

The team prayed for the sick and lead everyone in an public prayer for healing. We comanded pain and sickness to leave the people. Many felt  that Jesus touched them. One women had a tumour the size of a tennisball on her back, as we prayed she  felt something and as she checked the tumour was gone! Here she is testifying to Rikard!

This man had heard about the meetings that God was doing miracles, he had problems with his back and everytime he bent down he felt pain and now he is totally healed. See below as he testifyes to Louice!

Tomorrow Johan will be preaching and Louice will give a testimony on the campaignmeeting. It will be wonderful to see them in action!!

Pray for us and for the local people who will followup these thousands of people that will be harvested for the Kingdom!!

Iam so proud of my team. They are really doing well. Im glad that they invested their time and money in coming to Bangladesh and reap the harvest with me! Maybe you should come with me  next time?

First night in Dinajpur! What a start!!

DSC_0223

Alot of people had gathered when we came to the campainground in Dinajpur. Over 2500people where there as I started to preach that ”Jesus sees you and whants to transform your life!”. You could feel the hunger in the air. We got to see people in the hundreds come to Jesus Christ. (actual numbers will come tomorrow as we get the count of decisioncards.). The ushers had to go into the crowd and gather decisioncards. It wasnt possible to invite people to the front as there where ”too many” people raising their hands.

DSC_0239

The whole team prayed for the sick in a public prayer for healing. Many people then testified that Jesus had healed them from different afflictions. The team got trained in taking healingtestimonys on stage. Below you see pastor Johan Jordeskog from Salemchurch in Vargön with a women that had been having pains in her arm for two years.

One women came just I was about to close the meeting. I asked her what had happened this is her testimony. ”As you (Andreas) asked us to bow our heads and pray to Jesus to move in, something happened. I saw an ”arrow of light” flying from your left side, when it hit me the light of God filled me. In that moment I thought about a relative that is sick, maby God wants to use me? You see that Im crying, but thats just because I am happy”

As she told me this, my heart broke, the tears just kept running down my face and I had a hard time speaking when I was about to translate the testimony from English to Swedish for our videorecording. This is why I fly to Bangladesh, spend over 30 hrs in airplanes and train to come to Dinajpur. Changed lifes oh how it touches the heart of the Father!!

Im one of those not going to church

Today I was in Bjärnum helping out in the youthgroup, as I do every friday when Im not away preaching somewhere else in the world. As I sat on the bus back home to Hässleholm I talked to man who was about to go out for a partynight. As he asked what I have been doing in Bjärnum I got to answer that I helped out in church. Then I told him that I want to be a pastor for those who dont go to church, in the bars etc…and my dream is that  church will be firstly for those who dont go to church.

“Im one of those not going to church”

He said “Im one of those not going to church” so I told him, then Im your pastor tonight. We talked about Jesus and I shared the message of Gods salvationplan and about His love for us. I got to share my testimony, and he really listened. Before we both jumped off the bus, I got to pray for him and bless him. When I prayed he looked at me, smiled and said “Thanks nobody have ever done this to me!”. As we parted ways I was filled with joy over the fact that I can be a light everywhere I go. Dont hide the light shine people!!

The message of salvation in a new way, check this out!!

You are blessed to be a blessing! So shine people shine!

ACE-conference 2009

Im at the moment in wonderful Belfast aka Blessfast for our annual ACE-conference. We have had wonderful days of fellowship here. Im looking forward to two campaigns in Bangladesh before the end of this year. Bangladesh the land of my heart, oh how I rejoice!!

I love when campaignevengelists come together and set their egos aside and say, “lets stand together and work for the harvest of the unreached!” , “lets train new campaign evangelists”….

I believe evangelists at times have been so protective of their ministry and that they have to stand on the stage etc…what is that? Not the gospel way of living… If we know who we are in Christ, we become secure and we dont see others as threats to your ministry but as partners.

Things are changing! Lets release others to ministry!! Thats is my desire and my heart, glad its also part of the vision of ACE… More evangelists reaches more people!! The workers are few, thats why we train new evangelists. Im so glad that my friend Jonas is attending the conference, soon he will follow on his first campaign and be trained by an experienced evangelist. Below is a picture of the delegates this year…

The unreached peoples

On Thursday I will be flying to Belfast, UK for our annual ACE-conference. Its a missonsconference for the evangelists of the ACE-network and our local coordinators from the different missionfields. I always feel revitalised after spending some days in “Blessfast”. We will be planning the upcoming campaigns for 2010. Im looking forward to next year, this fall will also be wonderful, in less than a months time I will be flying down to Bangladesh for a campaign.

Sometimes people ask me: “Andreas why do you go to Pakistan or Bangladesh and travel many hours by airplane, bus etc?”

Because the love of Jesus has totally wrecked me!! How can I look the other way? There are millions upon millions who have never heard about Jesus. Over 6000 people groups (about 2billion people) who havnt heard yet….Please look at this video, Let the love of God consume you! Know that you are loved my friend! When you know you are loved, you will love others….

“We love because he first loved us 1John 4:19
